Short On Time Wedding Workouts

Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life, and planning can sometimes take over your life. But you have to keep you eye on the ball, and make sure you’re looking hot for your big day.

If you don’t have all the time in the world for your wedding workouts, here are some great ideas to keep you moving.


Tabata squats
Tabata push-ups
Tabata running
Tabata burpees
Tabata sit-ups
Tabata lunges

You’re probably asking, “what the heck is tabata?” Don’t worry, I have the answer!

Tabata is a workout that only takes you 4 mins to complete. And it’s high intensity, so it actually gets you results. Just make sure that you work hard.

Tabata is 20 seconds of work, and 10 seconds of rest, for 8 rounds.

If you have a smart phone, you can download any number of Tabata timers that will help you with your 4 minute workout. If you have more than 4 mins you can also put more than one of these workouts together for a super Tabata.

Here are some other great, quick workouts that you can do at home.

Set a clock for 10 minutes and do as many rounds of the following as you can:
5 push-ups
10 sit-ups
15 air squats

Run 1 mile for time

200 meters of walking lunges. This is GREAT for your booty!

As many push-ups as you can do without resting (after a slight warmup, of course). This can be done with any bodyweight exercise you can think of, and will get you a great, quick pre wedding workout.

It’s not ideal to have to squeeze all of your workouts into small time frames when you want to look dynamite for your wedding, but a little is ALWAYS better than nothing. So if you’re short on time, make sure you do a nice and hard workout that’s quick and intense.
