I’m sure that you can guess the best time to start working out before your wedding is as early as possible. But a lot of people haven’t planned that far ahead, and I know that some of you get engaged and married shortly after.
Workout
If you haven’t been working out for years prior to your wedding, I ideally would like you to start about 3 months before your wedding. 3 months can give you time to get some great results.
You can safely lose 2 pounds of fat a week. Which means you can lose around 24 pounds of fat in a period of 3 months.
You can also put on some muscle that will seriously help with that great toned look.
If you have more than 3 months to get in shape for your wedding, you should definitely start getting to work now. Or if you want to lose more than 20 pounds.
I like to think of this pre-wedding workout push as a start of your new life. Why not keep the workouts going after your wedding? This can set the stage for a very healthy and fit life that you can live with your spouse and those around you.
Diet
If you’re looking to get the kind of results that I’m talking about you will also need to make sure your diet is in check. I’m not talking about any kind of crash diet, but you have to eat clean, and eat for your specific goals.
For example, if you want to lose the pounds, you are going to need to be limiting your starchy carbs. Breads will absolutely kill your weight loss goals.
So make sure you eat lots of organic meats, vegetables, and healthy fats. Simply trading your grains out for vegetables will have a HUGE impact on the way you look for your wedding day. HUGE! Get started today. And believe me, you’ll have more energy too!
